Let me run through a quick story of my life. I remember I wanted to study law. Things did go as planned. I couldn’t make the University cut-off mark for Law. The University, family and friends suggested I accept fate and settle for some other law related courses. I was at a crossroad of either succumbing to FATE, or exercising my Faith – looking up to God who is the Author and the finisher of my faith. I chose to exercise my faith, and just like it does to everyone who truly engages it, it paid off. I am today half way into becoming a Minister in the temple of justice.

The complexities of modern world have caused many people to relay backward. They sit and wish, work and hope, leaving their lives to such disaster as it is termed FATE.

FATE

Faith is clearly the missing link in our present day lives and living. Faith is what differentiates these modern days from the glory our fathers and their fathers before them enjoyed. A life where they took absolute command of their lives and living, making bold declarations during the night and watching those declarations find expression all through dawn to dusk. Faith doesn’t make the difference in life, faith is all of the difference.

The Amplified Bible puts it best, defining faith as not just an all time present tense action, but going on to give clear fundamentals as to what constitutes perfect faith. It says, ‘Now FAITH is the assurance (the confirmation, the title-deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses]. Hebrews 11 vs. 1 [Amp].

As we go on engaging the numerous process God has drafted for us in life, not just having faith matters, but how well we exercise it. For the faith we have possesses potential energy, and until we put it to action we cannot experience the kinetic dimension of its energy. For the just shall live such excellent life as is prescribed by scriptures only [not one of the many means, ‘only’] by his faith.

However, there are several days our humanity causes us to seemingly want to give up on our faith, it’s allowed to be weak; it’s allowed to be bothered when regardless of the level of faith you’re exercising things are not going right. But there’s a way to build that faith again, for the Bible provides that ‘…building up on your most Holy Faith, praying in the Holy Spirit’

One good way to build up your faith again is to pray. For prayer is a good way to express your faith. It shows to the God that you believe Him, because you do not ask someone to give you what you know that they do not have. Talking to God in prayers as set many people at the peak of their lives.

Faith

Pray in faith

Fate tells you there is a life you deserve; Faith allows you to choose the life you desire, gives you an opportunity to chase at it, and rewards you excellently with it. There’s no life you deserve, there’s just a life you desire. Go for it!
